几度花落时

徘徊花丛里，情人呀不来，
痴痴在等待，莫非你把我忘怀。

那年花落时，
相约在今日，
可是呀不见你来。

曾问那花儿我心事，
可知我相思苦，
随那流水呀寄给你，
再问几度花落时

When do the flowers fall

Lingering in the flower fields,
my lover didn’t come,
foolishly I waited,
could it be you forgot me?

That year when the flowers fell,
Our meeting was today,
but you didn’t come.

I have asked those flowers my heart’s trouble,
they know my sorrows,
following that flowing stream back to you,
again I ask when do the flowers fall.

The Next Few Months (Haiku)

​January comes
She enters – a shining light
January ends.

February comes
I’m bass clef, she’s treble clef
February ends.

March comes like a thief
A whiff of raw emotions
March ends in a blur.

April comes too quick
Heart burst and bitter as gall
April ends hopeless.

May comes finally
Soft palms kiss and lover’s bliss
May lasts forever.
