In 2014, Eric first wrote to me in response to my testimony on my blog. He encouraged me to persevere through the tough times of life and also shared his struggles with me. This dear brother whom I have never met committed to pray and fast for me every Tuesday!
As I transitioned from PhD life to theological studies, Eric has always been a supportive prayer partner. Fast-forward to 11 May 2019, when I finally met him at my graduation service. It just so happens that my graduation took place in Eric’s home church and he is a wonderful floral arranger for churches and weddings. What a divine connection! He blessed us two beautiful flower bouquets and I am so touched by his love and concern. God often puts people in our lives that we would never have met in our usual routines. God is the divine connector who orchestrates every single event in our life. We do not need to worry about the future because God controls it!
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.
