The Cross (A cinquian poem)

Cross
Rugged
Raised up high
Jesus nailed on
Wood.

Nails
Nine-inch
Three pieces
Flesh pierced through by
Steel.

Thorns
False crown
Ripped his scalp
Blood trickling down
Skin.

God
Crossed worlds
Nailed for us
Torn the veil to
God.
